According to the commission’s statement, simultaneously, 141 others were also expelled from Iran and returned to Afghanistan.

The commission stated that the returnees entered Afghanistan through the border crossings of Torkham and Spin Boldak in the east and south, Bahramcha in Helmand province, Islam Qala in the west, and Pul-e Abresham in the north. These crossings are among the most important border points in the country, seeing the highest movement of migrants.

Pakistan has significantly increased the expulsion of Afghan migrants in recent weeks, with reports indicating that thousands are being sent back to Afghanistan daily. This action continues despite many of these families having lived in Pakistan for years and now facing shortages of shelter, employment, and basic services within Afghanistan.

Human Rights Watch has also expressed concern over the widespread expulsions, noting that the process has intensified following recent tensions and clashes between Taliban forces and Pakistan. Despite the increase in forced returns, the Taliban administration has not yet presented a clear and effective plan for the sustainable resettlement and proper support of these families, leaving concerns about a humanitarian crisis in border areas unresolved.

Over 4,000 Afghan migrants were expelled from Pakistan in one day, raising humanitarian concerns amid growing tensions and lack of resettlement plans.

[17,2,16

post-11476","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-migrant-news","category-secondary-headline
["GET
