He referred to Afghanistan\u2019s cultural ties with regional countries as historic and emphasized efforts to deepen these relations.<\/p>\n<p>According to Muttaqi, the Taliban administration is working to facilitate visa issuance for athletes and enable their participation in international competitions. He also claimed that since the Taliban\u2019s return to power, significant progress has been made in promoting traditional sports across the country\u2014an assertion made despite ongoing extensive restrictions on various sectors of society, including women&#8217;s sports.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives of the participating countries expressed appreciation for the organization and management of the festival and positively evaluated the standards of traditional wrestling in Afghanistan. They announced their readiness to strengthen cooperation and launch joint sports programs in the future.<\/p>\n<p>The International Traditional Wrestling Festival began last Thursday in Kabul, bringing together athletes from seven countries. Approximately 60 foreign athletes and 100 Afghan athletes competed in the event.
