According to the Ministry of Public Health, the meeting emphasized the activation of laboratories at the Hairatan border to ensure the quality of imported medicines.

Published information indicates that the purpose of activating these laboratories is to subject imported medicines to standard monitoring and evaluation before distribution. Hairatan border is one of the most important trade gateways in northern Afghanistan, with a significant portion of imports passing through this route.

The meeting also covered timely healthcare services for returning residents and the establishment of hospitals at the district level. Taliban officials stated that these actions could improve access to essential healthcare services for residents of remote areas.

The Minister of Public Health stressed the ministry’s commitment to developing, improving the quality, and ensuring the equitable distribution of healthcare services across all provinces. However, while the Taliban administration speaks about expanding healthcare services, citizens in many provinces continue to complain about shortages of facilities, professional personnel, and limited access to quality healthcare, raising serious questions about the fulfillment of these commitments.

Taliban Health Minister meets Balkh governor to discuss expanding labs and healthcare services, aiming to improve medicine quality and access in northern Afghanistan.

[17,8

post-11440","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-social-affairs
["GET
