The Statistics and Information Directorate of Samangan Province announced that in the year 1404 of the Iranian calendar (2025), civil registration services were provided to 48,840 individuals. These services include the distribution of identity cards, registration of vital events, and corrections to identity documents.<\/p>\n
According to the provided data, during this period, 29,037 electronic ID cards and 14,475 paper ID cards were distributed. Additionally, 458 birth certificates and 738 death certificates were issued, and correction services for citizenship identity cards were performed for 4,132 individuals.<\/p>\n
Habib-ur-Rahman Waqas, head of statistics and information in Samangan, stated that there are currently two centers actively distributing electronic ID cards in the province. He added that besides issuing new ID cards, post-distribution services and issuing duplicate ID cards are also offered to male and female applicants.<\/p>\n
In terms of statistical activities, the directorate collected social and economic data using 538 standard forms over the past year. Furthermore, the prices of 307 food and non-food items were recorded and analyzed on a monthly basis from the province\u2019s markets.<\/p>\n
