It called on the Taliban administration to immediately lift educational restrictions on girls.

Expressing concern, UNAMA noted that after four and a half years, an entire generation of Afghan girls remains deprived of going to school. The organization believes that continuing this situation not only violates the basic rights of girls but also poses a serious challenge to the country’s economic and social future.

The mission emphasized that equal access to education, especially in the field of information technology, can foster skill development, create job opportunities, and enable women to participate effectively in the country’s development. However, the restrictions imposed by the Taliban administration have caused thousands of girls across the country to miss out on secondary and higher education.

International organizations have repeatedly warned that the continuation of these policies further isolates Afghanistan and deepens social divides. UNAMA has once again called on the Taliban administration to lift these restrictions promptly and facilitate the return of girls to schools and educational institutions.

UNAMA calls for the immediate lifting of Taliban restrictions on girls’ education in Afghanistan to ensure equal access and secure their future.

[4,3

post-11286","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-politics","category-top-news
["GET
