He stated that relations with neighbors are conducted based on “clear principles and frameworks” and affirmed that this approach will continue.<\/p>\n
According to Nuri, Afghanistan currently maintains “reassuring” relations with five neighboring countries in the fields of trade and mobility. He did not provide further details regarding the nature of these relations or how they are ensured, while in recent years political and economic restrictions have cast a shadow over Afghanistan’s foreign interactions.<\/p>\n
The acting minister also added that interaction with regional and global countries, including “non-Muslim countries,” continues within the framework of Islamic principles. He stated that mutual rights are considered mandatory.<\/p>\n
He emphasized that Afghanistan does not interfere in the internal affairs of other countries and does not engage in wars related to others’ objectives; however, should any problem arise for Afghanistan, the matter will be addressed separately.<\/p>\n
These remarks come amid the Taliban administration’s ongoing challenges regarding international legitimacy and limited official relations with many countries following its reestablishment of control over Afghanistan.
