The individuals arrived in Russia on April 19 on a flight from Tel Aviv.

According to the Russian website Meduza, citing an informed source, the detainees were held under supervision for about five hours and were questioned regarding alleged involvement in “starting a war against Iran.” The source claimed that some officers told several detainees that Iran is an ally of Russia, and that an enemy of Iran is also considered an enemy of Russia.

Among those detained were several dual nationals holding both Russian and Israeli passports. The report added that after the questioning, they were asked to sign documents described as “warnings.”

Meduza speculated that these documents likely served as standard notices about the obligation to comply with Russian Federation laws. All individuals were eventually released.

So far, no official Russian authority has confirmed or denied the incident; however, some Israeli media outlets have also reported on the detentions and questioning.

Russian security forces detained 40 Israelis at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport, questioning them over alleged links to anti-Iran activities before releasing them.

[17,6

post-11080","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-international
["GET
