According to the report, currently no vessels are passing through this crucial maritime passage.<\/p>\n<p>The report further states that most ships in the area have changed their routes, heading towards the Sea of Oman. The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the world&#8217;s most important energy transit chokepoints, and any disruption there could have widespread economic and commercial consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, after the Islamic Republic of Iran announced that non-military vessels were permitted to pass through the Larak Corridor, a number of ships passed through the strait under the management and coordination of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy.<\/p>\n<p>However, following what has been described as a violation of the ceasefire terms, Iranian officials announced that the maritime blockade of vessels and ports by the United States has not been lifted.
