Noureddin Azizi, Acting Minister of Industry and Trade for the Taliban administration, participated in the \u201cTrust in Trade\u201d panel on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, emphasizing the importance of peace, stability, and the expansion of human and commercial relations among countries.<\/p>\n
In the session, he stated that the people of Afghanistan have faced various challenges over nearly five decades and currently, Afghanistan\u2019s assets remain frozen abroad\u2014a situation that, according to him, has adversely affected the country\u2019s economic and commercial conditions.<\/p>\n
Azizi described the Taliban administration\u2019s message as one of \u201cpeace and peaceful coexistence,\u201d adding that this approach is based on religious values and the will of the Afghan people. This claim comes amid over four years of extensive restrictions imposed by the Taliban on fundamental rights and freedoms, especially those of women, which is widely regarded as a primary factor behind Afghanistan\u2019s ongoing political and economic isolation internationally.<\/p>\n
