The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has condemned the killing of two drivers of trucks carrying drinking water in Gaza City. Following the targeted attack, UNICEF has suspended its operations in the affected area and called for an immediate investigation.<\/p>\n
According to the international organization, the two drivers were targeted and killed on Friday morning on Al-Mansoura Street in Gaza City while delivering drinking water to Palestinian families. UNICEF stated that the incident has deeply outraged the organization.<\/p>\n
UNICEF added that the area in question was the only accessible route for supplying water to Gaza residents. With the suspension of activities, the delivery of drinking water to families will face serious difficulties.<\/p>\n
