Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared that Israel’s attacks on Lebanese territory constitute a clear violation of international law and breach the ongoing ceasefire in the region. The ministry emphasized that Lebanon remains under a ceasefire established following recent tensions between Iran and the United States, and any military action undermines efforts toward peace.<\/p>\n
In an official statement from Islamabad, it was noted that maintaining stability in Lebanon is a fundamental prerequisite for advancing peace negotiations in the Middle East. Pakistani officials warned that continued conflict could further complicate the already fragile regional situation.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Usman Jadoon, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the United Nations, addressing the Organization of Islamic Cooperation meeting at the UN headquarters, highlighted the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian situation in Lebanon. He called for an immediate ceasefire and uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to affected areas.<\/p>\n
The Pakistani diplomat stressed that ongoing bombings, particularly in southern Lebanon and densely populated regions, have caused severe harm to civilians and widespread destruction of vital infrastructure. He described these actions as blatant violations of international law and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n
