He made these remarks during a meeting with officials from Sistan and Baluchestan Province and local authorities in the Milak region.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the Milak border is one of the key trade and transit routes between Afghanistan and Iran, and to meet the commercial needs of both countries, it requires development and infrastructure improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Iranian officials had announced that the opening of a new land route at this border would increase the movement of cargo trucks, a step that could facilitate the transfer of goods.<\/p>\n<p>The Milak-Zaranj crossing, located along Afghanistan&#8217;s Nimroz Province and Iran&#8217;s Sistan and Baluchestan Province, serves as a crucial gateway for the entry of diesel fuel and other Iranian export goods into Afghanistan.
