He added that while Iran has experienced the highest level of bilateral talks with the US, it still controls the Strait of Hormuz, and the United States has offered no concrete achievements.<\/p>\n
Kim described his government’s diplomacy as lacking cohesion and necessary follow-through, emphasizing that amid sensitive regional conditions, American military personnel and citizens burdened by rising energy prices expect serious and results-driven negotiations. According to him, the ongoing process has resembled more of a political show.<\/p>\n
These remarks came hours after Pakistan’s foreign minister announced the end of intense negotiations between the two parties. Before leaving Pakistan, JD Vance stated at a press conference, “The bad news is we have not reached an agreement,” confirming that the delegations departed Islamabad without an accord.<\/p>\n
Vance claimed the Iranian delegation failed to provide convincing guarantees against pursuing nuclear weapons. In contrast, a source close to the Iranian negotiating team told media outlets that the US delegation was eager to leave the negotiating table.<\/p>\n
