The Afghan delegation was led by Mohammad Ishaq Sahebzada, Deputy Minister of Railways, while the Uzbek delegation was headed by the Deputy Director of the Railway Administration and the country&#8217;s Minister of Transport.<\/p>\n<p>According to the information provided, the main goal of the meeting was to increase the transfer of commercial goods and raw materials via the Hairatan railway and to explore ways to enhance transportation services. Hairatan port, located in northern Afghanistan on the border with Uzbekistan, is considered one of the country&#8217;s most important trade gateways.<\/p>\n<p>Officials stated that the implementation of 24-hour services will provide greater convenience for traders and residents, along with improved access to laboratory and transportation services.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement also emphasized increasing wagon capacity from 130 wagons to approximately 500 to 700 wagons.
