The official stated that Israel remains committed to the decision announced by Donald Trump, though claimed to have been excluded from the negotiation process.<\/p>\n
Donald Trump, President of the United States, declared his agreement to halt bombings for two weeks and described a 10-point proposal from Iran as a reliable basis for dialogue. According to him, this proposal could provide a framework to reduce tensions.<\/p>\n
Reports indicate that Iran’s proposal includes issues such as non-aggression, lifting primary and secondary sanctions, ending certain international resolutions, acceptance of enrichment, compensation payments, and the withdrawal of US combat forces from the region. Additionally, stopping clashes on all fronts, including Lebanon, is part of this framework.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Kan reported that US Vice President JD Vance persuaded Benjamin Netanyahu to accept the ceasefire. Nevertheless, in his first official response, Netanyahu claimed that the ceasefire does not include Lebanon.<\/p>\n
This stance comes after the Prime Minister of Pakistan had earlier stated in a declaration that the immediate ceasefire among parties includes all areas, Lebanon among them, and is to be enforced from the moment of announcement.<\/p>\n
Netanyahu also said that Tel Aviv supports Trump’s decision to suspend attacks against Iran, provided that Iran keeps the straits open and halts attacks.
