Mohammed Ziauddin Yousuf, spokesperson for the UK’s Reform Party, referring to Trump’s approach during both of his presidential terms, said that his foreign policy can largely be explained by the doctrine known as the “Madman Theory.” According to him, this doctrine is based on unpredictable behavior, aimed at conveying readiness for severe and costly actions to the opposing side.<\/p>\n
The party official also pointed to threats made about targeting civilian infrastructure in Iran, emphasizing that damage to vital facilities such as desalination plants could have serious humanitarian consequences. Meanwhile, following a harsh post from Trump on the social media platform Truth Social, some psychology experts also entered the discussion. Dr. John Gartner, a former professor at Johns Hopkins University, warned that Trump has shown signs of frontotemporal dementia for years and believes this condition has accelerated worryingly in recent weeks.<\/p>\n
Gartner stated that individuals suffering from this type of dementia may lose their ability to judge and control their behavior and can become aggressive. The Daily Beast also reported that he is the second expert to comment on the possibility of Trump’s cognitive disorder following the recent message from Trump.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Dr. Finn Gupta, a psychological analyst on MSNBC, had said that Trump struggles to complete sentences and shows signs of confusion and behavioral instability. According to him, this condition has gradually worsened over time.<\/p>\n
