He expressed hope that tensions would lead to a ceasefire and prevent escalation of conflict.

According to him, any continued tension in the region could affect energy markets and the supply of gas and fuel. He added that reopening the Strait of Hormuz and restoring stability to the energy market are critically important for citizens of various countries, including Britain.

Meanwhile, following a harsh post from Trump on the social media platform Truth Social, some psychology experts also entered the discussion. Dr. John Gartner, a former professor at Johns Hopkins University, warned that Trump has shown signs of frontotemporal dementia for years and believes this condition has accelerated worryingly in recent weeks.

Gartner stated that individuals suffering from this type of dementia may lose their ability to judge and control their behavior and can become aggressive. The Daily Beast also reported that he is the second expert to comment on the possibility of Trump’s cognitive disorder following the recent message from Trump.

Earlier, Dr. Finn Gupta, a psychological analyst on MSNBC, had said that Trump struggles to complete sentences and shows signs of confusion and behavioral instability. According to him, this condition has gradually worsened over time.

On the other hand, Jim McGovern, a member of the U.S. Congress, declared that Trump is not mentally fit to hold the presidency. Meanwhile, Marjorie Taylor Greene, a former Congress representative, referring to the 25th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution—which governs the removal or succession of a president—warned about the threats raised, writing that a civilization should not be targeted.

In recent days, Trump has made various remarks concerning war, the Strait of Hormuz, and Iran’s defensive capabilities; a topic that, according to some observers, has added to the ambiguity surrounding the direction of U.S. foreign policy.

Donald Trump’s recent statements on Iran and the Strait of Hormuz spark political reactions and raise concerns about his mental health among experts and politicians.

[17,6

post-10315","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-international
["GET
