Barkatullah Kohestani, the manager of one of the branches of Afghan United Bank in Kabul’s City No area, was fatally attacked with a knife on the morning of Monday, April 6. Local sources report that the incident took place around 7:30 a.m. as he was heading to his workplace in the Qala-e-Najarha area of Kheyrkhana, part of the 11th police district of Kabul city.<\/p>\n
According to sources, after stabbing him, the attackers moved his body to a small nearby room and hid it. So far, the identity and motives of the perpetrators remain unclear.<\/p>\n
