In connection with the incident, one individual has been arrested on charges of possession and attempted illegal sale of these artifacts.<\/p>\n<p>Hafiz Naqibullah Alamyar, spokesperson for the Sar-e Pol police command, stated that the statues were recovered from a civilian attempting to illegally sell them. According to him, the operation was carried out by reserve unit personnel of the police command in coordination with the second security district.<\/p>\n<p>According to the provided information, the discovered statues include four small historical stone pieces which, after legal procedures, have been handed over to the Department of Information and Culture of Sar-e Pol province for further investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Sar-e Pol is one of the provinces where historical and ancient artifacts are found in certain areas. In recent years, concerns have been raised about the smuggling of antiquities from various provinces of the country.
