The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced that the country’s air defense forces shot down 148 Ukrainian drones over a three-hour period across various regions of Russia. According to the ministry, the events occurred between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., affecting mainly the central and southern parts of Russia.<\/p>\n
Russian officials say that as a result of these attacks, nearly half a million families faced power outages. Technical teams are currently working to restore electricity and repair the damaged networks.<\/p>\n
Reuters reported that in the border region of Belgorod, a civilian defense volunteer was killed following a drone attack. Additionally, debris from a drone struck a residential building in the port city of Novorossiysk on the Black Sea coast.<\/p>\n
In the Crimea region, authorities stated that the city of Sevastopol was targeted by several drone attacks throughout the day, with seven drones shot down in the latest wave.<\/p>\n
