The meeting was attended by high-ranking representatives from both sides and focused on reviewing political, economic, and security relations.

The meeting was chaired by Amir Khan Muttaqi, acting Foreign Minister of the Taliban administration. According to official sources, officials from Central Asian countries also participated in these talks to discuss expanding bilateral and regional cooperation.

Published information indicates that the main topics of this meeting included the development of regional cooperation, strengthening trade, increasing transit levels, and addressing security challenges. Central Asia holds strategic importance for Afghanistan due to its geographical position and role in transit corridors.

However, while the Taliban administration speaks of expanding regional cooperation, the lack of international legitimacy and extensive domestic restrictions, especially regarding civil rights, remain serious challenges to sustainable regional engagement. Experts believe that the continuation of economic and political cooperation requires the creation of a trustworthy domestic environment and responding to the concerns of the international community.

Afghanistan and Central Asian countries convene in Kabul to discuss political, economic, and security cooperation amid challenges to Taliban’s international legitimacy.

[17,4

post-10029","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-important-news","category-politics
["GET
