Local sources in Takhar province report that a Taliban member opened fire on four civilians in the village of Warnakhaw in Chah Ab district, injuring them. The incident occurred on Wednesday, 12 Hamal (April 1), and the wounded were transferred to Kunduz provincial hospital for treatment.
According to sources, the shooter is named Samiullah, and all the victims belong to a single family. The health status of the injured has not been officially disclosed by health authorities so far.
Local sources added that the motive behind the shooting was a personal dispute between this Taliban member and the affected family. However, no details have been released regarding how he obtained the weapon or how local Taliban officials are handling the case.
According to the sources, Samiullah, son of Sakhi Dad, was imprisoned in Pul-e-Charkhi prison before the fall of the previous regime and joined the Taliban ranks after their return to power.
