US Refueling Aircraft Makes Emergency Return to Ben-Gurion Airport

Media reports indicate that a United States refueling aircraft, after taking off from Ben-Gurion Airport and flying over Jordanian airspace, issued an emergency distress call and returned to land at the same airport.
According to these reports, after leaving the runway, the aircraft circled the area for some time before issuing the emergency status message. Subsequently, it changed course and returned to its originating airport in the occupied territories.
So far, no further details have been released regarding the cause of this emergency situation or the reason for the aircraft’s return. Neither US officials nor the authorities at Ben-Gurion Airport have provided an official statement on the matter.
Ben-Gurion Airport, located near the city of Tel Aviv, is considered one of the most important airfields in the region.
