Fire Erupts at Bahrain’s Bapco Refinery Following Iranian Missile Attacks

Local sources report that a large fire broke out at the Bapco refinery complex in the Rifa area of Bahrain after Iranian missile strikes targeted U.S. positions and bases in the country. According to these sources, the incident occurred after missiles hit areas connected to oil facilities and military installations.

Arab media reports indicate that several missiles struck a factory near the Bahrain border as well as parts of the Bapco refinery. This refinery is among Bahrain’s most significant oil facilities, playing a crucial role in the country’s oil production and refining.

Additionally, loud explosions were heard at the U.S. military base in the Al Juffair area of Bahrain. So far, no official details have been released regarding the extent of damage or possible casualties.

In a related development, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Defense stated that its air defense systems were activated to counter missile and drone attacks. Following these strikes, multiple explosions were also reported in parts of the UAE.

Arab sources further noted that simultaneous with these events, explosions were heard at several U.S. military bases in the region, including in Bahrain and Iraq. According to the reports, an explosion also occurred at a U.S. military base in Erbil.

There have also been reports of a drone attack on the U.S. Embassy’s logistical support headquarters near Baghdad International Airport, indicating that U.S. military-related sites in Iraq are also under threat.
