Taliban Spokesperson Claims Full Security Control Over All Areas of Afghanistan

Enayatullah Khwarazmi, spokesperson for the Taliban’s Ministry of Defense, has stated that the security and defense forces of the administration have full control over all parts of Afghanistan and protect every inch of the country’s land. He emphasized that there is no reason for concern about the security of any region.

According to Khwarazmi, the areas along the Durand Line are also fully covered by security forces, with continuous monitoring of these regions ongoing. The Durand Line, considered the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, has always been one of the sensitive security points in the region.

The Ministry of Defense spokesperson added that even in some hard-to-reach areas, the administration’s forces are present with “strong determination” and are committed to ensuring security.

These statements come amid recent years’ reports of tensions and security incidents in some parts of the border strip. However, independent verification of the security situation in many of these areas is difficult due to existing restrictions, and information is primarily released by official Taliban sources.
