Child Rescued from 60-Meter Deep Well in Helmand Province

A child who fell into a 60-meter deep well in the Babaji district of Helmand province was rescued by the technical team of the Taliban Ministry of Defense.
According to a statement from the 215 Azm Army Corps, the incident occurred yesterday in the ‘Nari Manda’ area of Babaji district. The source said that after falling into the well, the child was pulled out from the depth of the well through the efforts of technical forces.
The statement added that the child’s health condition is currently reported to be stable. No further details have been released regarding how the incident occurred or the age of the child.
Babaji district is part of Helmand province in the south of the country, where some areas have deep water wells without proper covers, posing dangers to local residents.
