98 Bodies Transferred to Kabul Forensics; Death Toll Not Final

The head of Kabul Forensics announced that so far, 98 bodies have been transferred from the recent incident site to the institution. According to him, some of these bodies have been handed over to their families, but several others remain unidentified and the transfer process is still ongoing.
Najibullah Farooqi added that with the continuation of the transfer process, the number of bodies may increase. He did not provide further details about the identities of the victims or additional information.
Meanwhile, Sharafat Zaman Amrakhil, spokesperson for the Health Ministry under Taliban administration, said in a press conference in Kabul that relief operations at the incident site are still underway. He stated that the figures for the dead and injured are not final and the number of casualties is likely to rise.
Several hours after the incident, the Taliban administration has yet to release an accurate and final casualty count; a situation that consistently raises concerns about the transparency of information and families’ access to precise data during such events.
