Rocket Fired from Afghanistan Kills Family Members in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Pakistani media have reported that at least four to five members of a family were killed after a rocket fired from Afghan territory struck a residential home in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The incident took place in the village of Salarzi in Bajaur district.
The Khorasan Daily newspaper reported the death toll as five, while Geo News cited four casualties. Both outlets identified the location as Bajaur district, near the Afghanistan-Pakistan border.
Geo News stated that the rocket had been launched by the Afghan Taliban. So far, the Taliban administration has not issued an official response regarding the incident, and Pakistani sources have not provided further details.
This incident comes amid heightened border tensions following recent Pakistani airstrikes on targets inside Afghanistan. The Taliban administration had previously reported drone strikes and border skirmishes with Pakistani forces—events that have raised concerns about escalating insecurity and civilian harm in the border areas.
