Funeral Held for 168 Students Killed in US Airstrike on Iranian School in Minab

The funeral ceremony for 168 child students who lost their lives following a US airstrike on the Shajareh Tayebeh elementary school in the city of Minab, Iran, was held on the morning of Tuesday, March 2. Participants accompanied the bodies from Shohada Square to the Shohada cemetery in the city starting at 8 a.m.

According to reports, the attack targeted an educational center, resulting in the deaths of 168 students. The incident has drawn widespread attention both inside Iran and across several countries worldwide.

Today’s ceremony was attended by a large number of Minab residents and the victims’ families. Participants carried the bodies and paid their respects as they accompanied them to the burial site.
