Democrats Accuse Trump Administration of Redacting Epstein Case Documents

The US Democratic Party has accused the administration of President Donald Trump of redacting portions of the documents related to Jeffrey Epstein’s case that pertain to complaints against Trump. This allegation emerged after the US Department of Justice made millions of documents related to the case publicly available.
According to American media reports, among the released documents, there are gaps connected to a 2019 lawsuit filed by a woman against Trump. The lawsuit reportedly includes allegations of sexual misconduct, including against a minor.
Lists and serial numbers recorded in the investigative documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein’s human trafficking network indicate that FBI agents interviewed this woman four times and prepared summaries and notes for each session. However, only one summary report is available in the Department of Justice’s public databases, which mainly focuses on allegations against Epstein.
An official numbering review of the documents shows that three other summaries and notes, totaling more than 50 pages, have been removed from the Department of Justice’s website. The New York Times and MSN Now have also reported similar findings.
Trump has previously denied any wrongdoing and stated that the Department of Justice’s document release proves he committed no crimes. In contrast, Democratic members of the US House of Representatives’ Oversight Committee have called this action “the biggest government cover-up in modern history” and have demanded an official response.
Jeffrey Epstein, an American financier, was under investigation for sex trafficking and abuse of teenage girls. His case remains one of the most controversial legal matters in recent years in the United States.
