Global Human Rights Body Condemns Pakistan’s Airstrikes on Afghanistan

The International Human Rights Foundation (IHRF) has strongly condemned Pakistan’s recent airstrikes on parts of Afghanistan, describing them as a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. According to the foundation, civilians have been targeted in these attacks, resulting in heavy casualties.
In a statement released by the foundation, the bombing of residential homes and the killing of women and children were deemed “completely unjustifiable,” with an urgent call to halt such attacks immediately. The foundation emphasized that protecting civilians is a legal and moral responsibility of all parties involved in the conflict.
The International Human Rights Foundation also demanded the initiation of an immediate, independent, and transparent international investigation into the incident, stressing that those responsible for the attacks must be held accountable. The organization urged the global community to ensure unhindered and prompt delivery of humanitarian aid to the affected areas.
Meanwhile, Syed Tayyab Hammad, spokesperson for the Taliban’s Nangarhar security command, confirmed the death of 18 people in the attack. According to him, the victims included women and children, and five others were injured.
This incident occurs amid growing concerns over the security of residents in border areas. The Taliban administration is expected to take effective and accountable measures to protect civilians and prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
