Five Memorandums of Understanding Signed Between Afghan Merchants and Dagestan Trade Delegation

The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment announced that following a business networking meeting between Afghan merchants and the trade delegation of the Republic of Dagestan, Russian Federation, five memorandums of understanding valued at over 1.5 million US dollars were signed.
According to the organization, these agreements were signed in the transport and food sectors, aiming to expand economic cooperation and facilitate trade relations between the two parties.
The Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment stated in a message on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) that this meeting was held with the goal of establishing direct connections among traders and creating a basis for joint investment.
The Republic of Dagestan is one of the federal units of the Russian Federation located in the North Caucasus region. In recent years, efforts have been made to develop trade relations with regional countries, including Afghanistan.
