Over 200 Youth Selected for AI Training Program in Kabul

The “Digital Solutions for Reconstruction” program focusing on artificial intelligence and data science has been held in Kabul, selecting more than 200 young people from over 2,700 applicants to participate.

This program, highlighted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) alongside the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (IDWGIS 2026), reportedly reached over 500,000 people through its outreach efforts.

The goal of this training course is to enhance the technical capacities of youth in the fields of artificial intelligence and data analysis—areas that have played a significant role in digital development and economic reconstruction of countries in recent years.

As the capital of Afghanistan, Kabul has hosted several technology training programs in recent years, focusing on empowering the younger generation and providing skill-building opportunities in emerging digital sectors.
