Wall Collapse in Farah Kills Two, Injures Three Amid Heavy Rain

Following heavy rainfall in the Farah Rod district of Farah province, the wall of a residential house collapsed, resulting in two deaths and three injuries.

According to local sources, the incident took place today, Thursday, in the Gor Zang area of Farah Rod district. Among the deceased are a father and his daughter from the same family who remained trapped under the rubble.

Mullah Mohammad Sadiq Jehadmal, the district governor of Farah Rod, stated that three others were seriously injured in the incident. According to his information, among the injured are a woman and two children.

Local officials reported that the injured have been transferred to the Farah Rod district health center for medical treatment. Their current health status has not yet been officially disclosed.
