Nearly 788,000 Passports Issued Nationwide Since Start of Solar Year

The Passport Department announced that since the beginning of the current solar year, a total of 787,750 passports have been issued across the country. This figure includes new passports, renewals, and documents issued to Afghan citizens holding foreign residency.

According to the information provided by the department, the application processing continues steadily, with an average of over 2,000 passport applicants being processed daily at relevant centers.

The Passport Department added that these services are provided across various regions of the country, with ongoing efforts to maintain an administrative process that meets citizens’ needs, especially in the area of travel documents.
