Iran Declares Full State of Readiness Amid Reports of US Naval Movement

Following reports of a large United States military fleet moving towards Iran, a senior Islamic Republic of Iran official announced that the country has adopted a state of “full readiness.”

According to Reuters, the official stated that Tehran considers any potential attack as a full-scale war against itself and, accordingly, relevant forces are on high alert.

The source added that the Islamic Republic of Iran makes no distinction between limited or extensive attacks and stressed that any form of aggression will be met with a response.

These remarks come amid rising tensions between Tehran and Washington in recent months, with military activities in the region being closely monitored by international observers.
