Venezuela’s Ruling Party Calls for Nationwide Mobilization to Defend the Country

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela has announced the launch of an immediate and nationwide general mobilization to defend the country. The party has called on its members, civil society leaders, field operational teams, and peace-loving citizens to participate in this effort.

In a statement released yesterday, the party declared itself ready to defend Venezuela against any foreign attack. The statement also demanded that the United States provide evidence proving that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro is alive.
