US Joint Chiefs Detail Military Operation Detaining Venezuelan President Maduro

The Chairman of the United States Joint Chiefs of Staff announced that American forces have detained Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife in a planned military operation.
General Dan Quinn stated in a press conference that the operation involved approximately 150 aircraft, and US forces reached areas near Maduro’s residence at 1:01 a.m. He added that the operation was conducted at night with high precision.
According to the US military chief, military helicopters encountered counterattacks during the mission, but the forces responded decisively within the framework of self-defense. He emphasized that in the end, Maduro and his wife surrendered and were taken into custody.
General Quinn further explained that preparations for the operation took several months, and US intelligence agencies had detailed information on Maduro’s movements, daily habits, and specifics related to his residence.
He said environmental conditions were “completely favorable” for carrying out the operation, and all US personnel returned to their bases without any casualties or injuries.
