Afghanistan’s Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat Discusses Renewable Energy Investment with Turkish Company Teknilligos

Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) announced that Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, its Acting CEO, met with officials from the Turkish company Teknilligos to discuss investment in renewable energy power projects and the development of electrical infrastructure.
According to information provided by DABS, Mr. Omar stated during the meeting that a transparent governance environment has currently been established for investment, and the necessary conditions for electricity production from various sources and the construction of related infrastructure are in place. He added that these conditions can provide reassurance for both domestic and foreign investors.
The Acting CEO of DABS also noted that the level of national and international investments in Afghanistan is increasing, urging investors to actively participate in electricity production and related projects.
Meanwhile, officials from the Turkish company Teknilligos expressed their interest in investing in electricity production, infrastructure construction, and the use of related technologies.
DABS further highlighted that after holding two major conferences to introduce investment opportunities and support investors, attention from domestic and international investors towards various energy sectors in Afghanistan has grown.
