Zelensky Denies Drone Attack on Putin’s Residence, Warns of Russian Threats to Kyiv

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, denied any drone attack on Vladimir Putin’s residence in the Russian city of Novgorod, stating that his country had no involvement in the incident.
According to media reports, Zelensky simultaneously warned that Russia is preparing possible attacks on government buildings in Kyiv, a claim he said could be part of the current tense atmosphere.
These remarks came in response to statements by Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s Foreign Minister, who accused Ukraine of targeting the Russian president’s residence. Zelensky rejected these accusations, saying such narratives may be pursued for political purposes.
The Ukrainian president also said that the Kremlin is attempting to divert the progress of peace talks between Ukraine and the United States from their main course. He called on Donald Trump, the US president, his team, and European partners to respond to the Russian claims.
Zelensky further urged Washington to respond appropriately to what he described as Russian threats.
