Seven Turkish Police Officers Injured in Anti-ISIS Operation Shooting

Turkish media have reported that during a security operation against ISIS-affiliated elements, police forces in Turkey came under gunfire, resulting in seven officers being injured. According to the state broadcaster TRT Turkey, the incident occurred in Yalova province in the northwest of the country, where security forces were carrying out a targeted operation against individuals suspected of ISIS membership. Media sources stated that armed individuals opened fire on the police during the raid, leading to at least seven police officers being wounded. Reports indicate that the injured officers were taken to medical centers and their health condition is described as satisfactory.
