UNRWA Warns of Worsening Winter Crisis for Displaced Families in Gaza

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has warned that tens of thousands of displaced families in the Gaza Strip are facing increasingly harsh living conditions with the arrival of winter.
According to UNRWA, many of these families have taken shelter in overcrowded tents and schools, places vulnerable to seasonal rains and flooding, which seriously threaten the health and livelihoods of residents.
The UN agency added that continuous rainfall and cold winter weather have exacerbated existing problems, making it more difficult for displaced families to access safe shelter and basic services.
Despite this situation, UNRWA stresses that its teams across various parts of Gaza continue their work, striving to support and assist people wherever they are to the best of their ability.
