Gaza Health Ministry: War Casualties Surpass 70,000

The Health Ministry in Gaza has announced that the number of victims from Israeli military operations has reached 70,117 since the beginning of the offensive on October 7, 2023.
According to the ministry’s statement, the violent assaults have also left 170,999 people injured. The reported figures highlight the unprecedented scale and intensity of military violence in the Gaza Strip, which has devastated the lives of thousands of residents.
In the past 48 hours alone, five more bodies have been brought to medical centers and 13 more residents have been wounded. Meanwhile, thousands are still believed to be trapped under rubble, with rescue efforts ongoing.
Although a ceasefire was declared on October 11, 2025, attacks have continued, leading to the deaths of 360 more individuals and injuring 922 others. Additionally, during this period, the bodies of 617 more victims have been recovered from the debris.
As global public opinion—particularly in Muslim-majority countries—witnesses the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, the Taliban administration has remained silent, failing to take effective action in response to the crisis. This inaction has raised serious questions about the political and moral stance of the Taliban regarding the killing of Palestinian civilians.
