PMF Says 55 Suspects Detained in Operations Across 12 Iraqi Provinces

The Popular Mobilisation Forces (PMF) announced that its fighters detained 55 suspects and dismantled several networks linked to terrorists and the Baath Party during security operations in 12 Iraqi provinces over the past few days.

According to the organisation, at least 23 of those detained had links to the Baath Party. Several people accused of leaking national security information were also identified and arrested.

The PMF has urged residents of Iraq to report any suspicious movement to security forces.

The organisation says it will continue its security and counterterrorism operations across the country despite the dismantling of ISIS’s structure in Iraq.
