Taliban transport ministry reports progress on Kandahar airport project

The Taliban administration’s Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has announced progress on the construction of a new terminal and a car park at Ahmad Shah Baba International Airport in Kandahar province. The cost of the project has been put at 800 million afghanis.

The ministry said the project is being carried out to expand airport facilities and provide services for passengers. According to the ministry, the work is expected to be completed with proper quality and within the set deadline.
