First Iranian plane lands in Najaf after week-long suspension

Hussein al-Muhanna, deputy director of Najaf International Airport, said the first Iranian plane has landed at the airport today after a suspension of more than a week.

According to al-Muhanna, the halt in flights came after actions taken by the US Treasury Department. He added that flights from Iran will also be accepted at Najaf airport in the coming hours.
