Taliban administration says Afghanistan will take part as full member in Moscow format meeting

The Taliban administration says Afghanistan will participate as a full member in the eighth consultative meeting of the Moscow Format, which is due to be held in Moscow on October 5.

The Taliban-run Foreign Ministry has confirmed that Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, the acting minister, will travel to Moscow at Russia’s official invitation to attend the meeting.

The ministry had previously announced that Afghanistan had become a full member of the Moscow Format. The statement did not provide further details on the topics to be discussed at the meeting.
