Israel Continues Airstrikes on Gaza Despite Official Ceasefire

Despite the formal announcement of a ceasefire, Israeli military forces have continued their offensive in recent hours, launching airstrikes on various areas across the Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, the eastern parts of Gaza City have been targeted by Israeli fighter jets, with widespread surveillance drone activity also reported in the region.

In the southern Gaza Strip, the city of Khan Younis has also come under aerial attack. Residential homes and infrastructure in the area have sustained significant damage. Reports indicate that this is the second time in the past two days that Khan Younis has been targeted, despite the ceasefire.

In central Gaza, the neighborhoods of Shuja’iyya and Al-Tuffah in eastern Gaza City have been bombarded by Israeli warplanes. Residents have reported extensive damage and widespread fear caused by the persistent presence of foreign aircraft.

Meanwhile, the city of Rafah in southern Gaza experienced heavy overnight airstrikes. Bombing extended even beyond the so-called Yellow Line.

These continued Israeli attacks come amid an increasingly dire humanitarian situation in the affected areas. The international community has yet to issue a strong response to Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire.
