Gaza death toll since war began rises to 74,023, health ministry says

The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza says the number of people killed since the war began on 7 October 2023 has risen to 74,023, while the number of wounded has reached 175,111.

According to the ministry, the bodies of one person killed and 13 wounded were transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours.

The agency added that since the ceasefire was put in place on 11 October 2025, 1,422 people have been killed and 4,996 wounded. It also said the bodies of 834 people killed during this period have been recovered from under the rubble.
