Taliban official claims 96% of Afghans are satisfied with its rule

Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, head of the Taliban administration’s disaster management body, has claimed without providing evidence or details of a survey that 96% of Afghanistan’s residents are satisfied with the administration’s rule.

He also claimed that, in addition to providing security, the Taliban administration has brought about “deep and positive changes” in various sectors. Turabi went on to say that there is no longer any area across the country left for the presence of armed opponents.
