Ariana Afghan Rises to Seventh Place in Skytrax Central Asia Ranking

Ariana Afghan Airlines has secured seventh place among 45 Central Asian airlines in the latest Skytrax ranking.

Officials from the airline said Ariana Afghan was ranked eighth in the 2025 list, but this year it has moved up one place to seventh. According to them, improved service quality and the expansion of the airline’s operations played a role in the change in position.

Ariana Afghan officials said the airline met criteria in the 2026 ranking including service quality, flight safety, cabin crew professionalism and aviation experience, and was placed among the top 10 airlines in Central Asia.

Skytrax is an international aviation service assessment body that evaluates and ranks airlines each year based on specific criteria.
